Start with a question
A journal prompt is an open-ended question or a line of poetry meant to be sat with, not answered quickly. Anne shares a new prompt each week — press play to hear this one — to give you deeper insights. All it takes is a few minutes and somewhere to write. Over time the prompts become a practice: a way to notice your patterns, question your assumptions and see your own thinking more clearly.
You don’t need to be a writer, or even someone who journals. Some people fill a page; others jot down a sentence and carry the question with them through the day. Either way works. The prompts draw on the same poetic language and questions that Anne brings to her keynotes and workshops — the difference here is that you set the pace. Come back each week for the newest one, or work through them whenever you need somewhere to begin.
